A Granbury Land Clearing Company That Tells It Straight
Black Knuckle Land Management is a small land clearing company based just outside Granbury, Texas. We clear brush, mow overgrown acreage, and handle the light dirt and gravel work that gets a property usable again. We aren't going to be the cheapest crew you call. We are going to be honest with you and do the best job we can.
Where We Come From
Black Knuckle Land Management grew out of Black Knuckle Ranch, a family of operations built around hard work and doing things the right way, even when the right way takes longer. The ranch side has always cared about good land and a reputation earned one job at a time. The land management side carries that same name and the same standards.
It started with our own property. We bought a skid steer because we had work that needed doing here at home. Once that work was done, it made sense to put the machine to work for neighbors, and in the summer of 2025 we started taking on jobs for other landowners around Granbury.
Who You'll Be Working With
We're a crew of three. Brandon Church runs the business, and two primary operators run the equipment day to day. Our operators came to Black Knuckle with heavy equipment experience, and Brandon gets out on jobs himself when the schedule calls for it. When you call us, you're talking to the people who will actually be on your property.
How We Approach the Work
Brandon put it simply on day one: we're never going to rip anybody off, and we're never going to lie to you. If you ask a tough question, you'll get a straight answer, even when it isn't the one you were hoping for.
That shows up in small ways. If a job is outside what we do well, like fine finish grading, we'll tell you up front instead of taking it on anyway. If something about your property changes the plan, you'll hear it from us before the work starts, not after.
Land Clearing, Not Land Sales
One thing worth saying clearly: we clear and work land. We don't sell it. If you own property in the Granbury area that's buried in brush, cedar, or tall growth, or you need a driveway, pad, or culvert put in, you're in the right place.
Who We Serve
Most of our work so far has been for homeowners and rural landowners, and we welcome commercial jobs too. We're based in Granbury and travel about an hour to an hour and a half out, including Glen Rose, Cleburne, Weatherford, Stephenville, Springtown, and Palo Pinto County.
